Avistacats MC Beauties
SALES CONTRACT
This Sales Contract and incorporated conditions and covenants are by and
between Avistacats MC Beauties (Breeder) and
___________________________________________________ (Buyer).
CONDITIONS AND COVENANTS
* Upon purchase, Buyer shall pay Breeder $200 deposit on the purchase
price of the cat/kitten. This Deposit is non-refundable should the Buyer
change their mind.
* Final payment is due and payable upon pick up of cat/kitten and must be
CASH or if shipped, a Postal Money order for the balance plus shipping
charges is due prior to shipping.

BREEDER’S STATEMENTS
* Breeder guarantees every cat or kitten sold to be in good health at the
time of purchase; Free of infectious and contagious diseases, rabies, FeLv,
and FIV negative.
* Breeder has had the kitten vaccinated for two Pfizer or Merial Pure Vac
Modified 3 Way Live Vaccine Immunizations. The kitten will be DUE for
its third shot one month after picking up the new kitten. Rabies
vaccinations are due at 5 months old. PLEASE read your kitten/cats
immunization record. We recommend ONLY Merial Vaccine or Pfizer
Vaccine because they are non-adjuvented and proven not to cause
sarcomas at the site of injection. The kitten has been wormed with
Pyrantel twice and has been on Albon for 10 days.
* Breeder requests that the Buyer isolate the new cat/kitten from their other
pets for a minimum of two weeks. Buyer agrees to taking overall measures
to reduce stress during the integration period, by having patience at this
special adjustment time and feed the identical food as served by the
breeder, offering bottled water & giving a lot of attention to bond with the

cat//kitten. They need to be living underfoot and receiving lots of special
attention and love to bond with their new owners.
BUYER COVENANTS
* Buyer is required to have a licensed veterinarian examine the cat/kitten
within two days of delivery. If the veterinarian has any questions or
concerns the Breeder MUST be allowed to speak directly to Buyer’s
veterinarian, within three days, for Breeder’s guarantee to apply.
* Buyer agrees to have the kitten surgically altered by a licensed
veterinarian between the age of 6-7 months for girls.
and up to 12 months for boys as your veterinarian reccommends..

Breeder needs written proof of
the alteration before releasing the CFA or TICA Registration Papers.
Registration papers for this cat or kitten will only be provided to Buyer
after Breeder receives written proof of neutering/spaying by a licensed
veterinarian.
* Buyer agrees to comply with the appropriate vaccination dates provided
by the Breeder. Breeder does NOT recommend the FIP, FIV or Feline
Leuk. vaccine. There is no guarantee when tested for Corona virus, as the
test is not definitive or specific to a single Corona virus. Breeder is not
responsible for any vet bills incurred. The Feline Leuk. vaccine is optional;
discuss this with your feline veterinarian. We do not recommend using this
vaccine because cats are INDOORS.
* If, God forbid, the kitten or cat dies suddenly, Buyer agrees to have a
necropsy done by a feline pathologist specialist. Breeder will replace
any kitten or cat if it dies suddenly within one year after purchase
from a documented genetic cause of death.
* Buyer is contracting to provide a "lifetime home" for this cat/kitten.
Buyer will contact the Breeder if the Buyer is unable to keep this
cat/kitten.
* Buyer agrees to keep the cat//kitten clean, healthy well nourished and
free of parasites, free from stress and harassment other animals or human
beings.

As the kitten reaches adulthood, Buyer agrees to feed the cat a high quaility food
We do reccommend Royal Canin Kitten and Iams kitten
AVISTACATS MAINE COONS thrive on this DRY Food. WET food
we feed Fancy Feast Classic Gourmet Beef, Turkey, or Chicken/Beef.
* Kittens are fed wet food twice a day until they are 5 months of age about
one 3 oz can split & adults require wet food once a day.
* Do NOT feed fish to our cats for fear of developing UTI *
* Buyer shall provide a sanitary indoor environment of sufficient room &
space. The environment will be free of hazards, safe, secure and
temperature controlled. Under no circumstances will Buyer permit this
cat/kitten to roam freely outdoors. Buyer will keep the cat/kitten in a
homelike, loving atmosphere, not subject to unnecessary confinement.
* If confinement is needed, the MC should have their own room NOT a
cage to call his/her own.
* REMEMBER to kitten proof your house making it safe for your new
kitten! Watch their exposure to electrical wires or cords, yarn, string,
thread, ribbon, tinsel, etc. Onions and chocolate are poison to cats!
Make sure to rid your home of all poisonous plants.
* Disclaimer: Screening for HCM is a currently recommended method to
aid in reducing the incidence of this condition in our cats. Breeders cannot
guarantee that their cats will not develop this condition. However, Breeder
can guarantee that we are dedicated to screening our co-operative breeders
in a continuing effort to produce healthy and sound MC’s to the best of
our ability. All Breeder’s cats are screened “Negative" for the cMYbp-C
HCM DNA Mutation.
* If the Buyer is found to be in violation of any of these covenants
and/or conditions, the Breeder will demand immediate return of the
cat/kitten without monetary reimbursement for breach of contract.
Buyer shall comply with Breeder’s demand and immediately and
safely return the cat/kitten to Breeder via customary conveyance.

* DISPUTE RESOLUTION *
* Buyer and Breeder agree to mediate any dispute or claim arising
between them out of this Contract, or any resultant transaction, before
resorting to arbitration or court action. Mediation fees, if any, shall be
divided equally among the parties involved. If, for any dispute or claim to
which this paragraph applies, and party commences an action without first
attempting to resole the matter through mediation, or refuses to mediate
after a request has been made, then the party shall not be entitled to
recover attorney fees, even if they would otherwise be available to that
party in any action. Must be done in the City of San Diego, In the state of California
